  • Are there special guidelines for photography in the Museum?

    Photography, amateur filming and sketching collections is allowed for personal use. However, photographs and videos may be used to publicize the museum. Visitors are not allowed to take pictures in the Featured Exhibition. The use of flash photography and supportive devices, such as tripods, monopods and selfie sticks, is also not permitted.

    Yes. The museum's Panoramic Restaurant, named for its floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Forest Park, offers brunch, lunch and dinner menus inspired by the museum's art collections. Using fresh, local ingredients, the full-service restaurant is popular with museum patrons, so making reservations is recommended. For something casual, the museum also has a café that serves freshly prepared soups, sandwiches and salads.
